Burger Boat Company Names 2020 Associate of the Year

Burger Boat Company, one of the oldest and most respected yacht builders in the world, has named Jason Conant as its 2020 Associate of the Year. The award celebrates his dedication to continuous improvement of his skills in service to Burger’s clients, as well as the leadership he has shown throughout the year.

Every associate at Burger plays a vital role in the success of the projects it delivers. Those like Conant exemplify the promise Burger offers its clients by leading the team in its commitment to excellence. His recognition as Associate of the Year is an opportunity to celebrate his dedication, the example he sets, and the unique skills he has developed as a key part of the Burger team.

In 2020, Conant has played a pivotal role in development of the new Burger 50 Cruiser, which is currently available for purchase with spring 2021 delivery, while also contributing to a number of refit, repair, and commercial projects.

The technical proficiency and unique understanding of shipbuilding that Conant provides makes him a key contributor to the Burger team. Since joining Burger as a carpenter in 2018, Conant has worked to create the luxurious interiors of each new Burger. In addition, his work ethic and quality of work has seen him grow within the organization, allowing him to work in other trades including plumbing, electrical, and welding. Conant, like previous Associate of the Year award winners, helps to raise everyone’s level through the personal example he sets. It is for that positive example, technical proficiency, and dedication to helping the Burger team achieve the highest standards, that he has been named Burger’s 2020 Associate of the Year.
