Burger Boat Company Hires Vice President Project Management
November 17, 2009—Burger Boat Company is pleased to announce the hiring of Jim Berkebile as Vice President Project Management. Jim will be overseeing support of all projects from their initial planning stages through completion and delivery. Jim will oversee all projects from their initial planning stages through completion and delivery. Jim will also oversee any outside support which may be required to ensure on-time delivery. Additionally Jim will oversee a team of production support staff during the build cycle including the sea trail and commissioning phases within the framework of each project’s specification and class requirements.
Jim was most recently Vice President of New Product Development for Marquis Yachts and Carver Yachts with complete responsibility for Project Management, Product Development as well as Engineering and Design for Yachts ranging in size to 92 feet (28m). His prior experience also includes time as Director of Engineering for Regal Marine in Florida and a total of 30 plus years in the Marine Industry. Jim has substantial experience in product development, prototype builds and working with US and European design firms.
Jim’s background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University and a Master’s of Science degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Jim resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
